Hen and stag specialist acquires rival

Brighton-based travel group Redseven has acquired rival Eclipse Leisure in a cash acquisition.
Redseven has bought Eclipse Leisure’s assets, including the company name and its forward bookings.
There will be no redundancies as a result of the deal, which will see Eclipse’s staff move into Redseven’s offices. Eclipse is also Brighton based.
Redseven specialises in hen and stag weekends, holidays and honeymoons.
Ian Lucas, founder and MD of Redseven, said: "It’s a very exciting time for the hen and stag market right now. Both Eclipse and Redseven are bucking the trends in the travel industry, and we have seen increased demand and recorded growth of 35% this year.
