Transaero S11 US Operation Changes: Update 2
Posted 08 March 2011 10:53
As per 08MAR11 GDS timetable display, Russian carrier Transaero further adjusts planned US operation in Summer 2011 season.
Moscow Domodedovo – Miami remains unchanged as the airline maintains its plan to operate Boeing 747-400 aircraft twice weekly, replacing 777. However, on Moscow Domodedovo – New York JFK route, there is a variation of operational aircraft. Service operates 3 weekly in April, May and October 2011. For most of Summer 2011 season, Boeing 777-200ER replaces 747-400, but the Jumbo jet is now assigned to operate in July and August 2011 to meet the demand.
Subject to Government approval, the carrier plans to resume 2 weekly 747 or 777 service to Los Angeles, marking the airlines’ return to US West Coast market after 13 years of service cancellation.
