Cathay Pacific to Launch Premium Economy on Boeing 747 from June 2012

As per 05JAN12 GDS inventory display, Cathay Pacific is to Launch Premium Economy Class Service on Boeing 747-400 aircraft starting June 2012.

The 4-class 747-400, dubbed “74K”, opens for reservation starting today (05JAN12), initially operating 3 times a week on London Heathrow service from June 2012, then increases to Daily from 01JUL12. In Summer 2012, Premium Economy Class on other London Heathrow service will begin from September 2012, on board Boeing 777-300ER (77H; see related post)

Initial operation details and configuration of “74K” as follows:

Hong Kong – London Heathrow
CX255/252 01JUN12 – 30JUN12 Day 357 01JUL12 – 27OCT12 Daily

Last minute aircraft changes is possible pending on operational issues.

74K Configuration – 359 Seats
First Class 9 Seats

Business Class 46 Seats

Premium Economy Class 26 Seats (Row 30 – 33)
Economy Class 278 Seats
