China Airlines Cancels London Heathrow Service from late-Mar 2012

As per 10JAN12 GDS timetable and inventory display, China Airlines from 25MAR12 is Cancelling 2 weekly Taipei Taoyuan – London Heathrow service. CI has Zero’d out all class of service in its system, while website booking no longer displaying these flights.

The Skyteam member launched this route on 28MAR10, initially with 3 weekly flights, but reduced to 2 from 31MAR11.

China Airlines initially claimed the the airline “is still evaluating the viability of this route while trying to improve the loads on this route”, despite reservation is no longer available. However, the airline on 19JAN12 has confirmed that this route will be cancelled from 25MAR12.
