Air Canada Launches New 458-Seater Boeing 777-300ER Service from July 2013

Air Canada today (07FEB13) announces the launch of brand new Executive First Class Seating as well as the introduction of Premium Economy Class. The new Executive First Class and Premium Economy Class will be featured on its new Boeing 777-300ER to be delivered in 2013 and 2014 (Total 5 units). The new 777-300ER configuration is 458-seater, in C36W24Y398. In Economy Class, the layout is 3-4-3 instead of 3-3-3.

The Star Alliance member will introduce the 458-seater 777-300ER aircraft initially on Montreal – Paris CDG route from 11JUL13.

Note certain days will be operated by 2-class Boeing 777-300ER. Seat map of the new 3-class 777-300ER has been posted on the airline’s website with following link. Existing 2-class 777-300ER is 349 seater (C42Y307). On separate note, the airline’s leisure unit Air Canada Rouge will introduce “Premium Rouge” on its Boeing 767 fleet.
