23JUL16 Update – UNITED S17 International Preliminary Changes

UNITED during the weekend of 22JUL16’s schedule update has made second major adjustment to its preliminary operation for summer 2017 season, for international service. Latest update as follow.

Chicago – Paris CDG 04MAY17 – 23MAY17 777-200ER continues operation during this period, previously temporary listed as 767 service
Houston – Munich eff 04MAY17 Planned 777-200ER service cancelled. 767-300ER continues to operate this route on daily basis
Los Angeles – London Heathrow
UA923/935 eff 01APR17 Boeing 777-200ER replaces 787-9
UA060/061 eff 04APR17 Planned 2nd daily service remains unchanged, however operational aircraft switches from 787-9 to 777-200ER until 30JUN17

San Francisco – Auckland Operational aircraft changes
30MAR17 – 29JUN17 Boeing 787-9 operates daily (787-9 service commences on 28FEB17)
eff 30JUN17 3 of 7 weekly flights operates with 787-8, replacing -9 (Day 357 from SFO, Day 257 from AKL)

San Francisco – Osaka Kansai 24MAY17 – 30JUN17 Boeing 787-9 replaces -8, daily
San Francisco – Seoul Incheon Planned 787-9 service from 04APR17 is cancelled. Boeing 747-400 continues operating on daily basis
San Francisco – Shanghai Pu Dong eff 24MAY17 2nd daily UA891/890 operates with Boeing 787-8, replacing -9 (see previous post regarding the 2nd daily service)
San Francisco – Taipei Taoyuan 24MAY17 – 30JUN17 Boeing 747-400 replaces 787-9. Previously the 747-400 was also being displayed on/after 01JUL17
San Francisco – Tel Aviv eff 01JUL17 Boeing 787-9 replaces -8, daily

Additional changes to summer 2017 season schedule, from 27MAR17, is expected during the course of next few months.
