Minsk-Helsinki: a New Flight of Belavia

The national airline company Belavia starts scheduled flights Minsk-Helsinki-Minsk from June 1, 2011. These flights would be operated with CRJ – 100/200 aircrafts that allow transferring up to 50 passengers in total in business and economy class. The flights between Belarus and Finland will be operated three times a week: every Monday, Wednesday and Sunday. Belavia website and ticket offices have already started to sale tickets for the direct flights Minsk-Helsinki-Minsk. The lowest rate available for the round-trip ticket is € 199 (excluding airport taxes). The new flight will be connected with other Belavia routes to Yekaterinburg, Yerevan, Moscow and Tbilisi that allows attracting new transit streams via Minsk. Organization of transit transfers to airports of Scandinavia, South-East Asia and North America is under consideration. After the opening of a new flight Belavia route map would include 37 cities in 22 countries of Eurasia in summer season 2011.
