Introduction to Airports Company of Zimbabwe
The Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe (CAAZ) was established on 01-Jan-1999, replacing the former Department of Civil Aviation. CAAZ is the government body responsible for regulating the aviation sector in Zimbabwe. Functions include the provision of air navigation and technical services, airport development and operations as well as regulating and enforcing flight safety and standards. CAAZ is headquartered at Harare International Airport, in the country's capital.
