FOR ITS 1st ANNIVERSARY billi TAKES FAMILIES ON HOLIDAY
On the occasion of the Bordeaux River Festival on 18 & 19 June!
One year after its inauguration (10 June 2010), the billi terminal has confirmed its positive dynamic: more than 22 destinations and 8 low cost airlines at Bordeaux Airport, 13 routes launched since the project was announced and more than 875,000 passengers transported across
all the low-cost links, or almost 23% of the airport’s global traffic. For this 1st anniversary billi has joined forces with the Secours Populaire association in a joint project organised at the Bordeaux River Festival on 18 and 19 June: the aim is to enable families to take their kids on holiday!
billi has joined forces with the Secours Populaire (one of France’s largest charity organisations) and its ‘holiday’ campaign to enable families that cannot afford to travel to take their children on holiday to one of the terminal’s destinations. A call for public donations is being organised to complete the scheme and allow as many families as possible to go: billi will invite visitors at the River Festival on 18 and 19 June to make their donations to the Secours Populaire volunteers.
Sale of a thousand ‘billi macaroons’, a ‘travellers wall’ contest, a ‘billi team’ game, a lottery… A wide variety of events will be organised for visitors to have fun and win flights!
