February 4, 2020 | In the middle of next summer, from June 12, 2020, Corendon Airlines from Bremen is adding Izmir to its flight schedule in addition to Antalya. From then on Monday and Friday from Bremen Airport to the Turkish city on the Aegean coast. The flights can now be booked with tour operators and at .

Locals affectionately call Izmir "Pearl of the Aegean" and rightly so: the third largest city, whose history dates back to the third millennium BC. Chr. Is exciting, enchanting, oriental. It perfectly combines old art treasures and modern buildings to form an ensemble worth seeing. The city's landmark, the Saat Kulesi clock tower, should be on the sightseeing list and impresses with its detailed and filigree design. Then it's on to the Kemeralti bazaar, through lively and fragrant alleys that exude the charm of the old Orient. And here, as in all bazaars, the same applies: trading is a good thing for loved ones at home when buying oriental spices and souvenirs. If you want a delicious refreshment afterwards, you will find it right next to the Bazdurak Cami fish market,

In Izmir there is also a short beach and beach holiday: Not far from Izmir there are famous seaside resorts such as Cesme and Kusadasi with great hotels and of course beaches that soak up the sun, relax and relax.

Don't miss Izmir's lively nightlife. The most exciting party district is in the Alsancak district. Everyone will find a party location to suit their taste here. If that's not enough, just move on through Konak - there are also cocktail bars and live music for a successful end to the day. And if you would like to get a taste of ancient air, you should definitely plan a trip to Ephesos on your bucket list. Around an hour away from Izmir you can marvel at the partly well-preserved ancient ruins and feel like you are back in time thousands of years.

Mondays and Fridays from June 12th with Corendon Airlines from Bremen to Izmir. Tuesdays and Sundays to Antalya. Tickets can be booked with tour operators and at .
