LODZ AIRPORT CENTRAL POLAND (IATA: LCJ; ICAO: EPLL) is an international airport located in the center of Poland. We are the most Central Polish Airport! It is only 6 km from the strict center of Lodz city, which is the third biggest Polish city with a population of 700,000 inhabitants and the metropolitan area of 1.1 million. Motorways and expressways extend the airport’s catchment area to 2.5 million people (60-minute isochrones; 7% of the total population of Poland).

Lodz city has been awarded in a few prestigious competitions.

In 2019 Lodz has been indicated as a “Best Value Destination 2019” by Lonely Planet and one of the cheapest (which doesn’t mean compromising on quality) travel destination for 2019 by Independent.

In 2021 Lodz city was placed on National Geographic’s “Best Of The World 2022” list. Lodz was the only place from Poland on this list and was awarded in the category “Sustainability. 
The second award for Lodz in 2021 was “Best Landscape Architecture for Poland” for World Horticultural EXPO which will be held in Lodz in 2029. 

In 2022 Łódź became a cover city of the world-famous magazine - Vogue! The city of Łódź impressed Vogue Travel with its climate, history, and architecture!

Lodz was a host of FIFA U20 World Cup in 2019 and European University Games in 2022 and ROUTES EUROPE in 2023.
