New Regulation concerning flights to Poland

The new list of countries with a flight ban to Poland is valid from 27.10.2020.

From 27.10.2020 there is a new Regulation of the Council of Ministers in force concerning the flight ban to Poland. "Poland’s government has extended its ban on some international flights until November 10. Starting on Tuesday, flights to and from 34 countries will not be permitted. Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Honduras, Nepal, and Morocco have been added to the list." writes polandin.com

There are now 34 countries on the red list. It is not possible to organise direct flights from those countries. Airlines need to verify their schedule to comply with the new law. Like the previous one, the ban does not cover EU member states, the European Economic Area, the passport-free Schengen area, as well as Ukraine and Russia.

Apart from the increased COVID-19 infections in many countries, there is also social unrest to influence aviation. Right now there are mass protests in Poland in the protection of women's rights.
