Jordan Aviation launched new direct flights linking Amman and Muscat

Muscat Airport welcomed the addition of a new airline with the opening of services by Jordan Aviation, who began operating twice weekly flights between Amman and Muscat.

The new route launched on Tuesday 29th June 2021, Jordan Aviation operates the service using their fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft on the route with up to 130 seats available with business and economy class options.

As the Capital and largest city in Jordan, and also one of the main population centres in the region, the new service to Amman will provide an important option for travellers from both countries, supporting the strong economic and business links and enhancing the options for tourists in both directions.

Muscat will be a further addition to the expanding route network operated by Jordan Aviation from their Amman hub, where the airline, that commenced operations in 2000, have over twenty years of providing connectivity throughout the region.  

The new Jordan Aviation flights to Amman, will also complement the existing services linking the two cities that are operated by Oman Air, enhancing the connections between the two Capitals and provide more choice and options for passengers in both Jordan and Oman.
