Monastir Habib Bourguiba international airport is located few kilometers to the southern-west of Monastir city, one of the best and much attractive touristic destinations in Tunisia. Set along a picturesque superb coastline, Monastir enjoys a panoramic blue sea and uninterrupted long golden sandy beaches; Its fishing port and pretty marina as well as its unspoiled historical ‘’Ribat” altogether make it a lively, yet a calm and charming destination. TAV started operating Monastir Habib Bourguiba Airport at the beginning of 2008 and will keep operating it until May 2047.

Since 2008, the airport has undergone major capital improvements which allowed to efficiently enhance its operations and to provide better services to passengers and airlines. At two hours only from Europe, Monastir Airport is one of the most important airports in Tunisia. It is easily accessible by diverse convenient transportation means including car rental, taxi, buses and railway. Monastir Habib Bourguiba airport was selected in 2010 as "The Best Emerging Airport” in Africa. Together with Enfidha Hammamet, TAV’s Tunisian airports served approximately 2.5 million passengers and 16,196 flights in 2018.
