It is also worth noting that in December 2019, an important investment was completed at the Chopin Airport terminal. Document and security control zones at level 0 for people traveling from Non Schengen countries have been expanded.

Transit passengers can now use the rebuilt document control area, which has grown from 12 to 18 aisles. On the other hand, the security control zone for transfer passengers in the Non Schengen - Schengen rotation was increased from 2 to 4, while in the Non Schengen - Non Schengen rotation also from 2 to 4.
