First flight on Air France's new Paris-CDG route landed in Faro

The company offers, since this Saturday, one flight/week to Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub. At the same time Air France continues to reinforce operations in Lisbon and Porto.

Lisbon, July 6, 2020 - The first flight on the new Air France route between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Faro landed this Saturday, July 4, at 08:37 in Faro. The airplane, an Airbus A319, with 121 passengers on board (for a total capacity of 133 seats in Business and Economy classes), took off the same day at 10 a.m., in the opposite direction to Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

Following the landing of flight AF9418 in Faro, Air France opens a new summer route between Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and the Algarve city, operated by an Airbus A320 family aircraft, with one frequency per week (Saturday) in both directions until 13 July, when it gradually develops to four flights per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday).

- AF9418: Departure from Paris-CDG at 7.10 a.m., arrival in Faro at 8.55 a.m.

- AF9419: departure from Faro at 10h00, arrival at Paris-CDG at 13h50.

Overall, the Air France-KLM group offers 128 weekly flights in July and August to/from 3 Portuguese airports (Lisbon, Porto and Faro). The present programme is naturally subject to the evolution of the present situation.

Air France also recalls that the use of a surgical mask is mandatory on all its flights. Daily aircraft cleaning operations have been reinforced and a specific procedure has been implemented to periodically disinfect the cabins.
