Her voice brings forth many melodies .WELCOME TO ZIMBABWE, a land rich in diversity ranging from low-lying semi-desert to lush highlands strewn with forests and lakes”.

Zimbabwe is a landlocked country, bordered by Zambia, Mozambique, South Africa and Botswana. The climate is generally warm, with a daily sunshine average of seven hours all year round. In Zimbabwe, you will ravel in cultural diversity, world class cuisine and accommodation, exhilarating outdoor activities including game drives and water sports.

The Majestic Victoria Falls

It is home to the breath-taking sights of Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a World Heritage Site, with its thunderous cascading sheets of falling water.

At the hub of a vast, pristine wildlife-rich tourism belt spanning Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls offers conferencing and leisure facilities , with over 50 scintillating activities, earning itself the title ‘Africa’s Adventure Capital’. For centuries known and deemed sacred by the local Tonga people as Mosi-oa-Tunya (The Smoke That Thunders) this Natural World Wonder, is shared by two countries namely Zimbabwe and Zambia.

Awestruck by the majesty of the 1708m wide and 108m high waterfall on the River Zambezi, the source of the mighty Zambezi River lies at about  1 500 m (4 900ft) above sea level near Kaleni Hills, North West  of Zambia. The river cuts through Angola forming Zambia’s international boundaries with Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique - spanning a total length of 2700Km on its way to the Indian Ocean.

The Majestic Victoria Falls lies about midway the course of the mighty Zambezi River where the surge of the Zambezi is best exemplified by the unfolding of this spectacular waterfall and gorges. The Zambezi River is the fourth longest river in Africa, after the Nile, Congo, and Niger Rivers.

The Zambezi River is rated as a grade 5 river which is the highest grade that a river can be graded for white water rafting. It evokes mystery and excitement with few rivers in the world remaining as pristine or as little explored.

19th Century missionary explorer David Livingstone became the first European to bring this spectacle to the attention of the world and saw it fit to name it after Queen Victoria, the then Queen of England.
