About the Hosts

The 13th Routes Americas event will be hosted by Indianapolis International Airport, Visit Indy and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.

Indianapolis International Airport

Indianapolis International Airport 300x200The Indianapolis Airport Authority manages eight airports in Central Indiana, with Indianapolis International Airport serving as the international gateway to the city. IND experienced record passenger traffic both domestically and internationally in 2018, with nearly 9 million passengers traveling through Airports Council International’s “Best Airport in North America” six years running. Thanks to significant increases in airlift since 2014, IND now services 145 daily flights to 50 nonstop destinations, including Paris and the entire U.S. West coast.

IAA continues to eye new domestic and international routes, with $20 million in support pledged from the State of Indiana to invest in recruiting more international flights.

IND is proud to be the first LEED certified airport in the US and home to the largest airport-based solar farm in the world. As the first airport designed after 9/11, IND combines state-of-the-art security measures with smart design and an emphasis on public art.
