Complimentary Tours

Our hosts have provided a number of complimentary tours to help delegates explore Chiang Mai. Please book to secure your place.

Each complimentary tour will last for half a day and will run in both a morning and afternoon slot. Morning tours will take place between 09:00-12:00 and afternoon tours will take place betwen 13:00-16:00. Each tour slot has a maximum capacity of 50 delegates. Delegates can expect light refreshments during the tours however lunch will not be provided. 

Tour 1 – Lanna Thai Experience

Chiang Mai is Thailand’s major centre for quality handicrafts made by skillful workmanship. This tour will allow delegates to experience the beauty of Chiang Mai handicraft and experience Northern Thai hospitality. Create unique souvenirs through umbrella painting, folding palm leaves and flower garland making.

Tour 2 – Heritage of the North

Heritage of The North

Saturday 7 March - morning and afternoon slots available

Covering a mountainous area of 560 acres and displaying a vast collection of plants from different climates around the world, Thailand’s very first botanic garden is now major travel destination in the Mae Rim district. This tour will allow delegates to experience the most interesting and beautiful gardens in Chiang Mai. The tour will also include the option of a tree top canopy walk reaching over 400 metres with stunning views over beautiful valleys and mountains.

Tour 3 – Jumbo Experience

Saturday 7 March - morning and afternoon slots available

Learn how to care for elephants on this tour to the region’s biggest elephant nursery. Surrounded by greenery, the nursey has a spectacular setting and will provide an incredible environment for learning basic training techniques from a local mahout.

Tour 4 – Lanna Thai Heritage

Lanna Thai Heritage

Saturday 7 March - morning and afternoon slots available

This tour will provide an insight into some of Chiang Mai's richest culture and heritage. Covering a variety of locations, the tour will include a visit to the city's Pra Singh Temple, where delegates will be within a short walking distance to Chiang Mai's most popular street foods. The tour will continue with a walk through the great Three Kings Monument, the Lanna Thai Kingdom and Chiang Mai's city hall. Delegates will also have the opportunity to visit the largest Buddhist Pagoda at Chedi Luang Temple.
