What is World Routes?

Each year the event moves to a new city to showcase a different host city and aviation market. Previous World Routes have taken place in a variety of locations including World Routes 2019 which was held in Adelaide, Australia, World Routes 2018 which was hosted by Guangzhou, China and World Routes 2017 which took place in Barcelona, Spain.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to develop on a global basis, government-imposed travel restrictions are still in place in many countries around the world. It is with regret we inform you that, after careful consideration and consultation with our hosts, SEA Milan Airports, we announce that World Routes 2020 in Milan, Italy, will now be postponed. The event, scheduled for 5-8 September 2020 in Milan, Italy, will now take place on 14-16 November 2020.
In 2019, the 25th World Route Development Forum will take place in Adelaide, bringing together the world's leading and fastest-growing airlines, airports and tourism authorities to discuss their route networks.
