RDG SCOOPS TWO AWARDS IN ONE WEEK
ASM Voted ‘Best Small Business'
Fresh Digital Accolade for Routesonline

RDG, the leading global solutions provider in the route development industry, has been selected the industry's very best twice in a week and picked up two awards for its outstanding efforts in the air service development sector. While ASM, a subsidiary of RDG, was rewarded by the UK Airport Operators Association (AOA), Routesonline, the official website of Routes (RDG's flagship event) scooped its award at the third annual Fresh Digital Awards.
ASM, the World Leader in Route Development for Airports, won the AOA Associate Member Award for ‘Best Small Business' in 2008. The coveted prize was presented by Ed Anderson, AOA Chairman, at a gala dinner held at the Excel Conference Centre in London.
"ASM's entry for the AOA Awards ceremony reflected their outstanding attitude to their customers and the business ethic," said Anderson. "Aviation as an industry is all about people, and their entry really proved their dedication and commitment. In particular the judges were very impressed with the evidence provided showing that ASM added value to both airport and traveller, that it is responsive to changes in business needs and that it demonstrates excellence in service delivery."
Other nominees in the ‘Best Small Business' category were Landscape Planning and Integrated Project Management.
"We are delighted to accept this accolade from our peers who have recognised the quality of consultancy offered by ASM and in particular the impact that we have in recent years had on the UK market," said John Grant, Managing Director of ASM. "The award is a reflection of the quality team we have and commitment we have shown to our clients."
The second award went to Routesonline, the world's first interactive route development service, which was voted ‘Freshest Business to Business' website at the third annual Fresh Digital Awards. The award was presented to David Stroud, RDG's Chief Operating Officer and the Routesonline team at an awards ceremony held at the Deansgate Hilton Hotel in Manchester.
In order to make the shortlist, the Routesonline team had to demonstrate how interactive media has been effectively employed to communicate or trade either internally or externally. Only two entries in this category had made the shortlist and Routesonline successfully outdid Creative Lynx, Virtual Clinic, Novartis.
"We are honoured to receive two awards within one week," said Stroud. "These accolades are a great success for RDG and reflect the significance of our contribution to the route development industry. This achievement has to be credited to the enthusiasm of the whole team at RDG."
These two awards come on top of the prestigious Queen's Award for Enterprise that Routes Limited won in 2007 in recognition of its sustained contribution to aviation route development through its innovative Regional and World Route Development Forums. The Queen's Awards for Enterprise are the UK's most prestigious awards for business performance, which recognise and reward the outstanding achievements and commercial successes of UK companies.
