Condor Rolls-out Winter 2012 Operation Changes

German leisure carrier Condor has rolled out its planned Winter 2012/13 operation, which several service changes.

Long-Haul

Asia/Middle-East

  • Colombo Winter-only service cancelled in W12
  • Dubai Winter service reduced from 4 weekly in W11 to 2 weekly in W12
  • Goa Service operates with Boeing 767-300ER on nonstop basis, replacing 1-stop flight via Dubai on Boeing 757. However frequencies reduced form 2 to 1 weekly
  • Siem Reap / Yangon / Phuket New weekly service to Siem Reap and Yangon. Inbound service operates via Phuket, where the Thai resort will receive 4 weekly flights compared to 2 in NW11

Caribbean

  • Holguin / Montego Bay Dedicated nonstop flights in each direction to these two destinations, operating twice a week. In W11, 1 of 2 weekly flights operating as combined triangle routing
  • Cancun Service increases from 4 to 5 weekly
  • Punta Cana Service increases from 5 to 6 weekly from Frankfurt, as well as new weekly service from Vienna
  • Varadero New weekly service from Vienna
  • Santo Domingo / Panama City Introduction of 2nd weekly Frankfurt – Santo Domingo – Panama City. Overall frequencies to Santo Domingo increases from 3 to 4 weekly; Panama City from 1 to 2 weekly

South America

  • Manaus Charter service operating on 22NOV12, 20DEC12, 17JAN13, 14FEB13, 14MAR13 from Frankfurt with technical stop in Punta Cana. Service operates 2 flights on each date
  • Recife Increases from 1 weekly in NW11 to 2 weekly in NW12
  • Rio de Janeiro NEW 3 weekly service from Frankfurt from 13OCT12
  • Salvador da Bahia Reduces from 2 weekly in NW11 to 1 weekly in NW12

North America

  • Fort Lauderdale 2 weekly service is cancelled during Winter season

Africa

  • Banjul / Ilha do Sal / Boa Vista New weekly service each to Ilha do Sal and Boa Vista (Cape Verde Island). Both operates via Banjul on inbound. Banjul operation increases from 1 weekly to 2 weekly, but will not operate nonstop in both direction

Europe Short/Medium-Haul
