Further Route Exchange Briefings Announced for Routes Europe in Budapest

Route Exchange Airline Briefings continue to go from strength to strength as is shown by the success of the briefings held during last year’s Routes events. These ever popular briefings, given by senior network planners, are an opportunity for attending airports to gain an overview of the carriers, allowing them to view, first-hand, what information the airline requires from the airports when making route proposals.

At this year’s Routes Europe event, five high profile airlines have already confirmed that they will deliver a briefing outlining the route development opportunities that exist and how airports can be part of their airline expansion with further briefings expected to be announced over the coming weeks.

Miguel Oliver, Network Development Director for Air Nostrum will discuss how one of largest regional airlines in Europe plans to grow its international presence whilst easyJet will deliver a Route Exchange briefing discussing the carrier’s plans and requirements for winter 2013 and beyond.

Darwin Airline SA is a Multi-Alliance, Regional Carrier with expansion planned over the next few years. Christian Schneider, Chief Commercial Officer for Darwin Airline SA will deliver a Route Exchange briefing during Routes Europe to discuss their target of “primary” Regional Airports (non-Hubs) mainly within France Germany, Italy, Netherlands and UK.

Further route Exchange briefings taking place in Budapest will come from Lufthansa’s Director of Network Planning, Dr Sebastien Hollmeier, who will brief airports on the network development changes at Lufthansa and SkyWork Airlines’ CEO, Tomislav Lang who will discuss how the Berne based carrier will expand with its Dornier 328 and Q400 aircraft.

Places are limited and airport delegates should contact Simon Baxendale or Kirsty Studholme to add briefings to your diary of pre-scheduled meetings.

An exclusive opportunity exists for sponsorship of the Route Exchange Airline Briefings at Routes Europe. The sponsor of the airline briefings room will ensure their branding is visible to their target market and will be able to communicate its key messages throughout the event on an exclusive basis. This sponsorship package includes; sponsorship of branded banners outside briefing room, sponsorship of speaker backdrop, promotion via the Routes Europe Delegate Directory and an exclusive opportunity to place promotional postcards on audience seats.
