WORLD ROUTES: A New Era of Route Development? ASM Talk With 'Aerotropolis' Author

Will route development see changes as radical as other industries such as music, film or travel agents? We don’t know yet, but more and more thought leaders in our industry believe that we currently witness the dawn of a new era of route development.

This new era is driven by, among others, the instantaneous availability of data and information as well as an accelerating trend towards global individual connectivity. Without a doubt, those airports and airlines who understand the trends that could revolutionise our industry and get ahead of the curve will have a huge advantage.

On October 7, 2013, Professor Jack Kasarda, one of the intellectual giants of the aviation industry and author of nine books, including the acclaimed “Aerotropolis – The way we’ll live next”, and Dave Stroud, Managing Director of ASM, the world’s leading route development consultancy, will talk about how airports and airlines can succeed in this new era.

Join them between 10:00 and 10:50am in the Routes Talks Theatre 1 for what promises to be a lively and enlightening discussion.
