Routes Asia Airline List Now Available Online!

The airline attendee list for Routes Asia is now available to view on Routesonline.com and with over three months to go until the event opens in Kuching on 9thMarch 2014 there are already over 20 carriers registered to attend.

Network Planners and other key decision makers from a wide range of carriers will descend on the capital of Sarawak, the largest of the Malaysian states, to discuss the future of air service development for the entire Asia region. The event, which is the largest of its kind in the region, has seen year on year growth and 190 airline delegates representing over 90 airlines are expected to attend in 2014.

Early indications show that there will be a strong presence from both National Carriers and Low Cost Carriers with registrations already received from Malaysia Airlines, Air India, AirAsia Group, Japan Airlines, Firefly, Qatar Airways and Etihad. Other carriers who have already confirmed their presence at the event include Air Astana, Hong Kong Airlines, AirAsia X, MASWings, Bangkok Airways and Philippine Airlines. The event is expected to attract around 800 members of the route planning community from the Asia Pacific region and beyond to discuss the future of Asia’s air service and provides airport and tourism authority delegates the opportunity to meet with senior network planners from their target airlines all under one roof.

Registrations from Airports and Tourism Authorities are also flooding in with recent confirmations of attendance received from Christchurch Airport, Cairns Airport, London Gatwick Airport, Berlin Brandenburg Airport, Kunming Changshui International Airport, Edmonton International Airport, Tourism Australia and Tourism New Zealand.

Along with the Face-to-Face Meetings which form the core of the event Routes Asia 2014 will also see a series of Route Exchange Airline Briefings given by senior airline executives and the Routes Asia Strategy Summit which will see an impressive line up of senior industry executives including Azran Osman-Rani, CEO of AirAsia X who has already confirmed that he will give the Keynote address.
