ROUTES AMERICAS: Rebranded Inter Caribbean Airways Plans Fleet and Network Growth

In November 2013, regional carrier Air Turks and Caicos was rebranded as Inter Caribbean Airways to support a strategy that its chief executive officer, Trevor Sadler, says will “better represents the Caribbean brand and our mission moving forward of connecting the Caribbean”.

In an exclusive video interview with The HUB Daily, following a Route Exchange briefing at this year’s Routes Americas forum in San Salvador, El Salvador, he revealed more details on the airline’s growth plans, including the introduction of additional Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia turboprops; a new city pair study to look at the potential of larger capacity aircraft; the launch of new flights to Samana in the Dominican Republic and on domestic Kingston – Montego Bay route in Jamaica and how the rebranded carrier aims to bring the first true inter-Caribbean air connectivity to the region.
