WORLD ROUTES: 'On Your Bike' Amsterdam Schiphol Helps Celebrate 20 Years of World Routes

A major European hub and long-time World Routes attendees, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol surprised the Routes team this morning just minutes after the Networking Village was opened as the Aviation Marketing Team presented Sallyanne Collins, head of commercial, Routes with a giant cake and other gifts to mark the 20th anniversary of World Routes.

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) is Europe’s fourth largest airport in terms of passenger numbers and third in cargo volumes. In 2013 it welcomed 52.6 million passengers and currently services over 100 airlines offering direct flights to more than 320 destinations. "For centuries, the sky over Holland has inspired artists from around the world to produce great works of art. Today, the famous Dutch sky presents airlines with great opportunities to develop their business," Wilco Sweijen, director aviation marketing, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol told The HUB.
