Denver – The Mile High City

A young, active city at the base of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Denver's stunning architecture, award-winning dining, assortment of art and history museums and major sports stadiums are just a handful of the things this city has to offer.

The City and County of Denver is the largest city and forms the capital of the state of Colorado. It is often referred to as the Mile High City because its official elevation is exactly one mile above sea level, making it one of the highest major cities in the US. Located in the South Platte River Valley on the western edge of the High Plains, just east of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, there are 200 named peaks visible from Denver, including 32 that soar to 13,000 feet and above, making for spectacular and breath taking views from across the city.

The Denver City Tour

Take a trip into the heart of the "Mile High City" on a Denver City Tour. Delegates will tour the downtown and other areas of the city such as “old” Denver and “Lo-Do”, with stops at the State Capitol building and at Coors Field. Delegates will then head for the foothills of the Rocky Mountains to experience one of Colorado's most photographed and scenic sights – Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre.

The Denver Art Museum Tour

Visit the Denver Art Museum for a Collections Highlight Tour. Founded in 1893, the Museum has the largest and most comprehensive collection of world art between Kansas City and the West Coast with over 60,000 works of art. Delegates will also get to tour the History Colorado Centre. This museum offers public access to Colorado cultural and heritage resources.

Denver Breckenridge Brewery and Stranahans Whiskey Tour

The Breckenridge Brewery is the third largest brewer in Colorado and one of Denver’s popular local producers of great beer. Delegates will tour the Denver facility of this growing craft beer producer and taste some samplings of the brewery’s freshly brewed beers during this approximately one-hour tour and tasting. .

After developing a recipe for one of the smoothest and most flavourful whiskeys in the world, using the purity of their mountain surroundings to their advantage, volunteer firefighter Jess Graber and George Stranahan created Stranahan’s Whiskey. This visit includes a one-hour tour of the Stranahan’s Whiskey facility and tasting.

Denver Sports Gems Tour

Denver is a sports lover’s fantasy, as one of the few cities with all four major American professional sports teams.

On this tour you will visit Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies. This baseball stadium is in the heart of LoDo and supports 50,000 seats for its rowdy Colorado fans. It was built to accurately resemble the old-time stadiums like Wrigley Field, and at the same time cater to family entertainment. This $215.5 million stadium took 29 months to build and opened on April 26, 1995 with five inches of snow on the ground. The first home game went fourteen innings. This tour is spectacular for baseball fans and non-fans alike!

Next we visit the infamous Sports Authority Field at Mile High, home of the Denver Broncos. We invite you to experience the Mile High Magic! This impressive facility is the home of the popular Denver Bronco’s National Football team. Guests will have the chance to see the field, the Visitor’s Locker Room, a party suite and more.

The Best of Boulder Tour

Boulder is a dynamic university community, nestled near the base of the scenic Flatiron Mountains - offering breathtaking views. Delegates will visit the famous Celestial Seasonings facility to see, taste and smell the world of teas. Then the tour will take delegates to Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder. And finally, before leaving Boulder, delegates will be taken up Flagstaff Road to the scenic overlook where they will experience the beautiful Rocky Mountain foothill city from above.

Breckenridge Skiing/Snowboarding Excursion

With five huge peaks spanning 2,908 acres, Breckenridge skiing has something for all abilities and interests. Every beginner and intermediate trail is groomed nightly so you can enjoy endless turns throughout your day. Or, ride North America’s highest chairlift, the Imperial Express, up to the high alpine bowls for unforgettable views and steeps. If you’re looking for terrain parks, Breckenridge has four—one for every skill level.
