Routes Europe Marketing Awards – Vote Now!

Voting for the third regional heat of the 2015 Routes Europe Marketing Awards is now open

Voting for the third regional heat of the 2015 Routes Marketing Awards opened earlier this week, much earlier than in previous years, and airlines from within the European region are being asked to consider the efficient use of marketing activities by an airport or destination over the last 12 months when deciding who to nominate.

Winners of the awards, which recognise the marketing performance of airports and tourism authorities within Europe, will be announced during the Routes Europe Networking Evening which will be held on Monday 13th April 2015 at the event in Aberdeen.

The annual Routes awards are highly regarded as the most prestigious awards in the industry as they are voted for and judged by the airline network planning community.  They provide the airline community with the chance to have their say as to which airport or destination they think provides the best overall marketing services to them ensuring that the most effective campaigns are rewarded for their hard work and dedication to route development.

When voting airlines should consider key elements such as market research, communication, presentations for market opportunities, campaigns with third parties and innovative use of technologies and techniques, visit our dedicated awards pages for more information.

These much sought after awards are a great way for the winning airports to have a credible recognition which they can proudly talk about to their customers and other stakeholders. City Airport Bremen was announced as the winner of the 2014 Europe heat and speaking at the time Bremen’s Director Sales & Marketing, Florian Kruse said: “We are absolutely delighted about the win. The whole team has done an absolutely amazing and wonderful job over the past year and across the first months of 2014 and have collectively invented our current marketing campaign.  We say a big thank you to our customers and friends in the industry and look forward to perhaps raising the bar further in Chicago at this year's World Routes.”

The overall winner of the Routes Europe Marketing Awards 2015 will be automatically shortlisted, along with the winners of the other regional heats taking place throughout the year at all other Routes events, for the World Routes 2015 Awards which will be announced in Durban next September.

Simply click here and log in to your Routesonline profile to nominate (in priority order) up to five airports in your network within Europe, irrespective of their size, and the best destination marketing campaign.  Voting will remain open until Friday 20th February 2015 and shortlisted airports will be announced shortly after this deadline.
