Innovation Norway and Avinor won the “Destination Marketing Award” at the Routes Europe Marketing Awards in Aberdeen, Scotland.
The award is considered one of the most prestigious in the industry as they are voted for and judged by the airline network planning community.

Other nominees in the destination marketing award category included Turismo de Tenerife, who were highly commended, Algarve Promotion Bureau, Montpellier Tourism Board, and Valencia Tourism.
Avinor accepted the prize at the Routes Europe Marketing Awards in Aberdeen this year, on behalf of Innovation Norway.
Cooperation in marketing Norway abroad has been carried out in a strategic, comprehensive and long-term manner. The campaigns have been carefully designed to highlight Norway's unique and magnificent countryside and cultural landscape. Airlines in the relevant markets have also participated as partners in the prize-winning campaigns.
