Routes Americas 2016 Marketing Awards shortlist announced

We can now announce which airports and destinations have been nominated to win an award in San Juan and receive industry-wide recognition for their outstanding achievement in route development marketing.

There will be four awards categories comprising of three airport categories, split by size, and a destination category for the best destination marketing campaign by a tourism authority.

All shortlisted airports and destinations will now be contacted and asked for a submission to support their nomination. This submission process is designed to enable the shortlisted airports to provide information for the judging panel as to why they think they should win the award, providing evidence to support their case.

From the airports and destinations nominated for an award, the following have been shortlisted within each category:

The Routes Marketing Awards were created to recognise excellence in airport marketing as voted by airlines. They provide the airline community with the chance to have their say as to which airport they think provides the best overall marketing services to them.

The Marketing Awards Ceremony will take place at the Routes Americas Networking Evening at the Caribe Hilton Beach on 18 February 2016, hosted by Puerto Rico Tourism Company and their stakeholders.
