Delta adds 15 international routes

Delta will add 15 new international routes to its network in an ambitious expansion in Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

Seven new Africa routes include flights to, Abuja, Nigeria; Luanda, Angola; Maloba, Equatorial Guinea and Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa via Dakar.

Other new routes include New York to Gothenberg, Sweden; Prague, Czech Republic; Valencia, Spain and Zurich, Switzerland, subject to government approval.

Delta is planning to use the newly acquired Northwest fleet for several new routes including a second daily flight from Atlanta to Tokyo’s Narita Airport effective from May 4.
