Your World Routes Essentials

This weekend, the 22nd World Route Development Forum will open in Chengdu. To help you maximise your event experience, here are some final tips.

Print a copy of your personal e-badge barcode

The main registration desk will be open from Saturday 24 September 12pm - 3pm in the Holiday Inn West Tower. It will also be possible to collect your badge at the Saturday Reception, sponsored by Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, at the Shangri-La Hotel from 6pm. From Sunday 25 September you will be able to collect your badges from the venue.

Remember your personal registration code

It is the password for your final diary, On-site Meeting System, as well as the Routes app and we encourage you to keep it handy at all times.

Download the new Routes app

You will have to download a new version of the app for this year’s event. Click here to download the app or search for “Routes Events 2016” in your chosen app store.

Airport and Intra-event transfers
Arrival transfers will be available from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport to official hotels from 8:30am today to 12pm on Monday. View the event transfer schedule.

You can collect your meeting diary from Diary Advice which will be open on Sunday 25 September from 9am. You will also be able to access the On-site Meeting System and accept additional meeting requests at the event venue, from 9am on Sunday 25 September.

Internet connectivity

China blocks 25% of world's internet sites including Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Gmail. Internet connectivity at World Routes will be affected by the Great Firewall of China and many popular websites will be either restricted or blocked. We strongly recommend that you download the Routes app presentations and promotional videos before travelling to Chengdu.

Visit Me

From traditional food and drink to entertainment and prize draws, exhibitors will be putting on a host of activities at this year’s event. Go to the Visit Me section on the app for full details.
