Following a recent expansion of operations in the US, ASM is delighted to announce the appointment of Lee Lipton as its new associate consultant.

Based in Vancouver, Canada, Lipton will support its client base across the Americas region as well as the global ASM network.

Lipton's impressive career in the industry includes senior roles in network planning and air service development with WestJet, Vantage Airport Groups, Aer Lingus and Southwest Airlines.

He began his career in 1995 as a network planning manager for Southwest Airlines, moving onto to become director of network planning for Aer Lingus in Ireland and then director of air service and cargo development for Vantage Airport Groups based out of Vancouver.

For Vantage Lipton worked across its portfolio of Canadian, Caribbean, European and US airports. His most recent role was director of network and schedule planning for WestJet, Canada’s second largest airline.

David Stroud, managing director of ASM, said: “I am thrilled that we can say that Lee is part of our team. His experience in the industry is second to none and I look forward to his support across our global client base and working with Lee on our business development plans.”

Lipton joins the team next week and will be introduced to the industry at the upcoming Slots conference in Vancouver on 18 June 2018.

Speaking ahead of the conference, he said: “I am extremely excited to be partnering with ASM and contributing my experience with airlines in multiple business models and global regions. I am looking forward to using this experience to help airports achieve success with their route development goals.”

This latest expansion for ASM follows a long history of supporting airports, airlines, tourism authorities and governments with the development of new routes since the company was founded in 1993.
