Air France is to operate a daily flight from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Atlanta by Airbus A380, the carrier has confirmed.

Starting on 31 March 2019, the A380 will replace the Boeing 777-200ER on one of the two non-stop services available daily. The move will increase capacity by 236 seats per flight.

The aircraft is configured with nine seats in the La Première cabin, 80 in the Business cabin, 38 in the Premium Economy cabin and 389 in the Economy cabin.

Air France’s ten Airbus A380s already fly to eight destinations: Abidjan in Côte d'Ivoire; Johannesburg in South Africa; New York-JFK, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington in the United States; Mexico City in Mexico; and Shanghai in China.

In addition to the Atlanta aircraft change, Air France will begin flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Dallas on 31 March.

The route will become the carrier’s 13th US destination from Paris and will be operated by an Airbus A330 with a capacity of 224 seats.

Throughout the summer 2019 season, up to five weekly flights will connect the two cities.
