Routesonline spoke to Simon Baxendale, senior scheduling manager at Routes, for the latest updates on the meeting request system and what's new for Routes Americas 2019.

The meeting request system for Routes Americas 2019 opened earlier this week – how is it going so far?

We have been inundated with requests for Routes Americas, having already received meeting submissions from 55 percent of our meeting delegates. City Pair meetings have continued to be popular, with more than 130 meetings being scheduled for the event so far

How can delegates request their meetings if they haven’t already?

Delegates can access the meeting request system in three easy steps:

• Visit the Routesonline homepage and login to your profile
• Enter your PRC into the box displayed on the homepage and click Submit PRC
• Follow the simple instructions to request your priority meetings

Scheduling will close on 6 February, so we encourage delegates to submit their requests as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

When will delegates be able to view their draft diaries?

Delegates will be able to view their draft diary from 29 January 2019. This will be available online and will highlight all the meetings that have been secured, as well as any meetings requested by other companies. Final diaries will be available on 6 February via the On-site Meeting System (OMS).

What is the On-Site Meeting System and when will it be available?

The OMS provides delegates with even more opportunities to arrange meetings with key targets. For the first time, the OMS will be opening a week before the event, giving attendees additional time to plan their time on-site more productively.

What other options do delegates have for meeting their targets at the event?

In addition to the scheduled meeting slots, delegates will be able to take advantage of both Fast Track and the two new Exhibitor Networking sessions.

Fast Track will take place on Wednesday 13 February from 14.50 until 15.35 in the Airline Meeting Hall, and provides delegates with the opportunity to make quick introductions to any attending airline.
