New for 2019, the Routes Silk Road 2019 Marketing Awards will allow airports and tourism authorities from the region to self-nominate for one of the most prestigious awards in the industry.
Why should organisations get involved?
This is the region’s airports and tourism authorities’ opportunity to highlight their route development marketing achievements, including the effective results, provision of data and innovative techniques that have differentiated their activities from their competitors and proven successful over the last 12 months.
What is the nomination process?
To nominate themselves for an award, organisations should visit our voting portal and provide a 150-word overview of their route development marketing achievements from the last 12 months by Friday 7 June.
How will they know if they’ve been successful?
Once all nominations have been received and considered, a member of the Routes team will contact all shortlisted organisations with the submission form, requesting further information and supporting evidence.
How will the submissions be judged?
A panel of expert airline judges will review each shortlisted organisation's submissions, considering effective results, provision of data and information, or innovative techniques to establish or maintain new or existing routes to identify the best overall marketing services on show.
The Overall Winner of the awards will be automatically shortlisted for the World Routes 2019 Marketing Awards in Adelaide, taking place this September.
The nomination period for the Routes Silk Road 2019 Marketing Awards closes on Friday 7 June. Delegates are encouraged to book their place at Routes Silk Road and start preparing their proposal today to be recognised for their outstanding route development marketing achievements.
