Virgin America has announced plans to serve the city of Fort Lauderdale (FLL) Florida. The carrier will operate to FLL from its two west coast bases of Los Angeles and San Francisco from the 18th November and will use A320 aircraft on the route.

Delta and Spirit both offer scheduled daily service between SFO and FLL however there is no current non stop service between LAX and FLL.
