Australian flag carrier, Qantas will add additional frequency into LAX from Sydney and Melbourne.

From Jan 18th Qantas will increase its A380 from Sydney to Los Angeles from 4x weekly to daily, while Melbourne will be increased from a two to three-times weekly to meet demand.

Qantas currently has a 23% market share transporting over 170,000 passengers in the previous 12 months on its Sydney LAX sector. On the Melbourne LAX sector, Qantas has a 30% market share and has transported 100,000 pax in the previous 12 months.
