AlItalia will add a second year round market to Miami from Italy, with the introduction of a 3x weekly service from Milan Malpensa. The route will be operated from June 3 with a B767 aircraft. The new route will compliment an existing CAI service from Rome FCO which is operated on a daily basis.

In the previous 12 months there has been a reported 64,000 pax travelling on the route indirectly. The largest indirect markets are:

• Delta Airlines- 26% via Atlanta
• American Airlines- 12% via JFK
• US Airways- 11% via Philadelphia
• Swiss Intl - 10% via Zurich
