Holiday traffic down 6.6% for JAL

Japan Airlines forecasts that it will see a 6.6% drop in international passenger traffic this festive season, compared with last year.

The airline believes it will carry just over 398,000 international passengers between December 26 and January 4. It has reduced its seat capacity by 4.8% for the peak period.

The JAL Group will operate additional 71 flights to holiday destinations such as Guam, Hawaii, Fairbanks, Hong Kong and Palau to name a few.
