Belavia is to launch services between Minsk and Riga from the 19th January 2010. The Belarussian carrier is to connect Riga to its Minsk base. The route will be operated thrice weekly using a CRJ.

It is believed the flights will add to airBaltic's existing services and the two carriers are seeking to co-operate with one another.
