Malaysia increases French flights

Malaysia Airlines will increase scheduled operations from its hub in Kuala Lumpur to Paris Charles de Gaulle.

Currently MS operates a 5x weekly rotation to the French capital, however from 28th March will increase this to a daily operation operated using B777-200 aircraft.

Malaysia Airlines currently offers the following European schedule from its KL hub:

  • Amsterdam 7x weekly
  • Paris CDG 5x weekly
  • Rome FCO 3x weekly
  • Frankfurt 5x weekly
  • London Heathrow 14x weekly

The KUL-CDG route is currently dominated by Malaysia Airlines with a 65% market share of the O and D market according to IATA BSP Data. Other carriers operating indirectly are: Emirates (DXB), KLM (AMS) and Etihad (AUH).
