Singapore Airlines will introduce its A380 service into Zurich from March 28th. The daily rotation will replace the current 12x weekly B777 service.

Singapore is the only currently year round operator between the city pairs and between Oct 08-09 transported over 110,000 between the city pairs.

Business class traffic accounts for nearly 40,000 passengers on the route making it an attractive route for the A380.

SQ346 will depart Singapore Changi Airport at 0110hrs, arriving in Zurich at 0800hrs (all times local). On the return leg, SQ345 will depart Zurich at 1200hrs and touch down in Singapore at 0605hrs the next day.

Zurich will be the third city in Europe and the seventh in Singapore Airlines' network to receive the A380. The Airline started operating the superjumbo in October 2007 to Sydney and subsequently added services to London, Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong and Melbourne.
