The following is miscellaneous airline route updates as of 15MAR11:


  • Air Arabia from 07APR11 is to increase Sharjah – Nairobi service from 4 weekly to Daily
  • China Airlines currently scheduling 1-time Boeing 747-400 service on Taipei Taoyuan – Wuhan service, on 13APR11
  • DELTA from 01APR11 cancels 2 Daily Memphis – Amarillo route
  • Djibouti Air this month launched 6 weekly Djibouti – Dubai on board dual-class Boeing 737 aircraft
  • EGYPTAIR from 01MAY11 is temporary suspending 4 weekly Cairo – Dusseldorf service until 29OCT11. The Star Alliance member also canceled service to Juba.
  • Fly540 from 18MAR11 begins Nairobi – Vipingo – Malindi service, operating 3 times a week
  • Hainan Airlines is expanding service out of Hefei in Summer 2011 season, including: 1 Daily Hefei – Xiamen (HU7863/7864) ; 1 Daily Hefei – Taiyuan (HU7863/7864); 1 Daily Hefei – Shenzhen (HU7746/7745) and 1 Daily Hefei – Harbin (HU7745/7746). All domestic routes to be launched from 26MAR11 with Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Internationally, starting 29MAY11 3rd weekly flight on Hefei – Singapore route will be added, which operates on Fridays. Boeing 737-800 currently operates on Wednesdays and Sundays
  • Spring Airlines from 27MAR11 launches 1 Daily Shijiazhuang – Guangzhou service on board Airbus A320 aircraft

  • AirEuropa and TAROM has issued an application seeking permission to display TAROM’s “RO” code on AirEuropa’s Madrid – Miami and Madrid – New York JFK route
