As part of Skyteam Trans-Atlantic joint-venture program capacity cut starting September 2011, DELTA will cancel 6 European routes gradually starting 01SEP11 until 23MAR12 at the earliest. Also, Memphis – Amsterdam sees service cuts from Sep 2011.
The alliance last month announced it will be cutting 7-9% on Trans-Atlantic traffic on flights operated by Alitalia, AIRFRANCE-KLM and DELTA.

In June 2011, DELTA is canceling New York JFK – Amman and New York JFK – Kiev, while New York JFK – Cairo route will not be resumed. In total, DELTA cancels 9 trans-atlantic routes during the FY2011/12.
On Memphis – Amsterdam route, service from 10SEP11 to 23MAR12 reduces from Daily to 4 weekly, Day x136 from MEM, Day x247 from AMS
