airTransat S12 Initial International Operation Changes

As per 17OCT11 GDS timetable display, initial changes to airTransat’s Summer 2012 International Operation as follows.

Note all comparison is based on peak season in S11 and S12, which falls between mid-June to early-September. Only those routes available to book via GDS are listed.

Calgary – Frankfurt 19JUN12 – 11SEP12 Nonstop service Increases from 1 to 2 weekly
Calgary – Glasgow YYC departure moves from Day 3 in S11 to Day 2 in S12
Calgary – London Gatwick 13JUN12 – 12SEP12 NONSTOP service increases from 2 to 3 weekly (S11 was 2 weekly nonstop and 1 weekly 1-stop)
Calgary – Manchester YYC departure moves from Day 57 in S11 to Day 47 in S12
Calgary – Paris CDG YYC departure moves from Day 4 in S11 to Day 7 in S12
Edmonton – London Gatiwck Operational days for both direction moves from Day 2 in S11 to Day 1 in S12
Montreal – Brussels Reduces from 4 to 3 weekly, 1 of 3 weekly service operated by Airbus A330, replaces A310
Montreal – Rome 18JUN12 – 03SEP12 Increases from 5 to 6 weekly
Toronto – Amsterdam 13JUN12 – 29AUG12 1 of 4 weekly service operated by Airbus A330, replaces A310
Toronto – Birmingham Airbus A330 replaces A310, 1 weekly
Toronto – Dublin Overall service increases from 4 weekly in S11 to 5 weekly in S12 (including 1 weekly via Montreal. Nonstop service increases from 3 to 4)
Toronto – Glasgow Increases from 5 weekly to Daily
Toronto – Manchester Service maintains at 6 weekly (Previous update was shown as 5)
Toronto – Paris CDG Overall service increases from 5 weekly in S11 to 6 weekly in S12 (including 2 weekly via Montreal, increases from 1)
Toronto – Rome Increases from 6 weekly to Daily
Vancouver – Glasgow YVR departure moves from Day 3 in S11 to Day 2 in S12
Vancouver – London Gatwick Service operates 6 weekly nonstop in both direction in S12, replacing 1 weekly 1-stop and 5 weekly nonstop in S11
Vancouver – Paris CDG Overall service increases from 2 weekly in S11 to 3 weekly in S12 (including 2 weekly nonstop, which increases from 1 in S11, as well as 1 weekly 1-stop service)

Following routes appeared to be cancelled as they’re not loaded in the GDS for Summer 2012 season. At this point this website is unable to confirm whether all routes will no longer be operating or at least some will re-appear in the GDS at later date.
