Air Canada and SriLankan Airlines starting 30OCT11 will begin codeshare operation. Initially codeshare service covers Trans-Atlantic routing via Europe between Canada and Sri Lanka. Trans-Pacific Codeshare service via Hong Kong to be implemented at a later date.
SriLankan Airlines is expected to announce 2 more codeshare partners in Europe in the coming months.
