China Eastern Resumes San Francisco Service from late-April 2013

China Eastern Airlines starting 26APR13 is resuming service to San Francisco after 13 years of suspension. The airline plans to operate Shanghai Pu Dong – San Francisco, a current stronghold route for UNITED, on board Airbus A330-200 on daily basis.

As of 0700GMT 15AUG12, reservations for this route is temporary closed.

China Eastern previously offered Shanghai – Beijing – San Francisco service twice a week on board MD11 aircraft, between 06APR97 and 30APR00.
