JetStar Japan S13 Operation Changes

JetStar Japan today announced planned Summer 2013 operation, which sees the Japanese unit of the low-cost carrier focusing on domestic routes. The airline is to launch 5 new routes, which 3 of them are from Nagoya Chubu, its newest base, while downsizing Osaka base.

NEW Routes, Service operates 1-2 daily each from 31MAR13:
Nagoya Chubu – Fukuoka
Nagoya Chubu – Sapporo Chitose
Tokyo Narita – Oita
Nagoya Chubu – Kagoshima (effective 31MAY13)
Tokyo Narita – Kagoshima (effective 31MAY13)

Service changes on following routes from 31MAR13:
Osaka Kansai – Fukuoka Reduce from 2 to 1 daily
Osaka Kansai – Okinawa Reduce from 2 to 1 daily
Osaka Kansai – Sapporo Chitose Reduce from 3 to 1 daily
Tokyo Narita – Fukuoka Selected periods to be reduced to 3 daily (currently operating 4 daily)
Tokyo Narita – Okinawa Selected periods to be reduced to 2 daily (currently operating 3 daily)
Tokyo Narita – Osaka Kansai Service reduced from 3 to 2 daily (1 daily from 06JUN13)
Tokyo Narita – Sapporo Chitose Increase from 3 to 4-6 daily
